It is the go to study destination for those who aspire to be an automobile engineer. The
World’s biggest automobile manufacturers like Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW and
Porsche, all started out of Germany. Since October 2014, all state and government
universities have stopped charging national and international students tuition fees for
undergraduate programs. However, the other expenses such as food, transportation and

The Federal Government endorses partnership programs with a list of international
universities. Independent cultural organizations of Germany encourage students by
awarding them with scholarships, funds, reimbursement of travel costs among many other
types of financial help. Many universities require students to possess basic knowledge
of German language for enrollment. It has a national regulatory and quality agency for
higher education – the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).

The education system in Germany mainly divides into two parts; paid and fee
education. Almost all the universities offering masters Program have free education
set up for international students. Some universities offering paid education have
fees range from 15000 to 25000 Euros per year.
The students applying for Undergraduate program are required to enrol in preparatory
year admission leading to admission in Graduation in the second year.
German universities also offer free doctoral studies for 3 years.
Technical universities in Germany cover more traditional courses. In fact, being an industrialised country, Germany has invested a lot in engineering universities, which have become particularly valuable programmes to study. In some other programmes they have become global leaders, like medicine and pharmacy.
